Boys on Film 08

Earlier this week, I released the latest issue of Boys on Film. It also came with great news because I received an email from the MoMA library being interested in adding all the issues of Girls on Film and Boys on Film to their archive!

I will be sending them a parcel with all the issues in a couple of weeks - New Yorkers, you should be able to enjoy Girls on Film for free really soon!

Girls on Film 12

 

 

Last Monday I released the new issue of Girls on Film. When I realized this was the 12th issue, it was quite shocking! I started this project in March 2011 not knowing where it was gonna go and I have already published 12 Girls on Film and 6 Boys on Film.

Boys on Film 06

Girls/Boys on Film keep growing, this is the 6th issue of Boys on Film and next month the 12th issue of Girls on Film will be released!

I hope you like the video, I'm using the same camera to shoot a fashion video tomorrow. It's my first "proper" video so wish me luck!

The new issue of Girls on Film is now available. This is probably one of my favourite issues, when I was putting it together I loved the summery feeling and how all the images worked well with each other.

Jakub helped me with the video, modelling with his hands haha and also adding some creative input, thanks! We used the hi8 camera we bought a week ago. I absolutely love it, so expect new videos really soon.

After almost two months here's the new issue of Girls on Film. As I always say everytime I post about it in this blog, thanks to everyone! This month I received so many submissions that I had to save some of the photos for the next issue! Keep them coming!

Sunday Zine Review #04: Boys on Film #03

A lot of people had been asking about paper copies of the zine so the only option I can offer right now is buying it via MagCloud. It isn't probably the cheaper way but as I'm unemployed haha I can't afford getting several copies from a printer. The selling price includes a $0.5 benefit for each sold issue that will be use for print copies and send them to websites that feature zines so the artists featured in it can get more exposure.

Hopefully I will be able to offer a cheaper option sometime soon! Meanwhile you can get your copy (perfect Xmas present :D) here

Here's the new issue of Boys on Film. The first issue of the Girls on Film and Boys on Film series came out in March this year and I have been editing one issue per month since then so I have to thank everyone that has contributed.

By the way, today I started working as a volunteer at Stills, which is a really nice photography gallery here in Edinburgh.

It has been a little delayed with all the moving to Edinburgh but the new issue of Girls on Filmis finally here.
