(Re)process event from OWT creative on Vimeo.
Jon Hannan from OWT Creative sent me the last zine this Manchester based collective has produced.
I've talked about OWT Creative before. In fact, in that review, I mentioned that OWT Voyage was going to be the latest issue from the OWT series they have been producing over the last year.
OWT Reprocess has been commissioned by the Manchester School of Art and uses submissions from the OWT back catalogue to form a background layer of pre-existing themes, which are combined and reprocessed by new work.
The result is amazing and the process of building the zine is also really interesting. Using GF Smith Colorplan paper and six-colour Riso printing adds further variables to the combinations of works, creating completely different zines.
Have a look at the video above to see the process and discover why no two zines in the run of 150 are the same!
If you are interested in getting a copy of Reprocess, you can do it on OWT's online shop for only £5!
Thanks again to all the guys from OWT Creative for having some of my photos in the previous zines and for having sent me some copies to be reviewed here. I'm really looking forward to seeing what's next!
