Hidden gems of L.A. - Palladium boots

Last year I posted a couple of videos of Alice Dellal and Johnny Knoxville exploring abandoned areas of London and Detroit. This time, the guys of Vice just sent me the latest collaboration with Odette Annable exploring some spots in L.A., what can I say? I just loved it and it makes me want to visit Los Angeles so much some time soon.

This is a special edition of Girls on Film, it features male portraits taken by 18 artists. Again, thanks so much to everyone that submitted their work.

When I started this project didn't really know what to expect, this is the third issue and people's response to it has been amazing so I guess there will be more girls and boys on film :)

We shot this last Wednesday, I love when I'm back home cause I can take my car everywhere when I'm shooting and it actually makes things much easier and it's always good times driving looking for locations and listening to music. The soundtrack for this shoot was It never rains in Southern California by Albert Hammond and part of the styling and locations were inspired in it.

I really enjoyed shooting it, it had been a long time without working with Marta and besides I've included some of my favourite things in the photos: forests, native american patterns and cactus.

Gijón, Easter holiday

Going back to Liverpool tomorrow, busy weeks ahead but I shot some fashion yesterday and it should be up here by this weekend or beginning of next week. The May issue of Girls on Film will be out as well next week and it comes with a little surprise that I'm sure you will enjoy :)
